Adults (18 yrs +)

Have you been looking for a new and exciting way to move your body and explore what you're capable of? Our aerial silks classes are designed to facilitate absolute beginners with a curriculum that supports their progression through the basic skills of climbing, wrapping and inverting. While you need enough strength to comfortably hold your own body weight in plank, pushup and straight arm bar hang positions, you don't need to be super strong or flexible to start. That's what our curriculum will help you to achieve! As you master the basic skills needed, we'll progress you through sequences that are designed to match your increasing strength, understanding and thirst for aerial arts. Work your way up from beginners to level 6 and beyond to our recreational classes and impress yourself (and those around you) with your own achievements.

Teens & Tweens (10 -17 yrs)

For the young people who want to try something a little different! Our Teens & Tweens silks classes follow the same curriculum as the adults classes, allowing for absolute beginners to build up their strength and flexibility to achieve breathtaking feats as they progress. Our experienced instructors guide students through each skill and watch them closely to ensure they know how to get in and out of each sequence safely. Aerial classes are a wonderful way to build confidence while improving coordination, strength and flexibility and making lifelong friends along the way. Though never compulsory, our students get the opportunity to perform at the completion of each level (two 10 week terms).

Levels

Beginner

Beginner silks classes focus on teaching you how to climb and wrap your feet in the silks to perform basic skills as you develop your strength. We will also begin to prepare you for inverting as this is a core skill required for so many sequences.

Prep 1, Level 1 - Level 6

The first term is for learning the skills in the curriculum and the second focusing on putting a number of those skills together into a routine which is performed at the end of term. The skills and sequences in the silks classes will get progressively more complex but will keep pace with your strength and experience.

Intermediate/Advanced Recreational

Now you're a master of all aerial fundamentals, plus you've got some awesome skills up your sleeve/leotard and a tonne of aerial experience! So it's onwards and upwards (pun intended) to our Inter. & Adv. recreational classes!

Each level spans two ten week terms.
